Your little ones can recall and become familiar with letters and sounds of the alphabet with the desk mat and reference the stories and songs introduced in our Let's Learn the Alphabet series of resources.
Not only can it be used on a student's desk, but it is perfect for the inside cover of writing books, and folders.

To play Alphabet or sound Bingo
Each student has a mat (this desk helper) and 5 counters/markers.
- Ask students to cover 5 letters of their choice.
- Randomly call out letters of the alphabet.
- As letters are called, students remove counters from their game board (if matching)
- The first student to have an empty board may be declared the winner.
Variations
- Call letter sounds rather than letter names
- Call words beginning with the letter/sound
- Call out the letter BEFORE the focus letter (great for alphabetical order)
- Call out students names who are in the class/school that begin with the focus letters
We wish you all the best in teaching your little ones the alphabet and know that by utilizing all or some of the activities in our series, that your lovelies will be engaged and excited for learning!
