An Apple a Day

After a  solid year of a consistent daily routine, things changed for me this week. I'm not teaching the hours I normally do and things are different at home.

Let me tell you, I am sightly undone.

My regular 11.15am apple has become a day long graze of various yummy treats.

How is it that one can have more free hours, but feel less focused?

It has me thinking about how helpful a predictable and regular classroom routine is for our students, and how perhaps doing less with more precise focus can ultimately lead to greater overall success.

Lots to think about as I wind down to our summer break and anticipate a new school year for 2017.

I hope your week is off to a great start too!
