We've included
- 4 writing page options,
- 12 walk-the-room style fact cards to help students with their research and
- some giant classroom letters spelling out 'POLAR BEARS' to title your classroom display
- Cut out the pieces and select the writing page (we've included 4 layout choices).
- Glue the inner pink circle ear to the ears and the writing page to the base.
- Glue the ears behind the head.
- Glue the eyes, nose and cheeks.
- Glue the paws on the sides and base.
We've included 12 fact cards to help students research for their writing. Each fact is simple and clearly set out for young readers.
Scatter them around the classroom and students can walk-and-read to learn about polar bears. Ask them to jot down a few facts that they will include in their writing.
You can team up this craft with the book Rainbow Bear by Stephen Michael King. Students can add colorful doodles to their craft after reading the book!
