It is time for the always-amazing Back to School sale over at TpT. You will know, that these TpT sale days are the only days we discount our store.
From Tuesday August 6th to Wednesday August 7th (USA time) use the code BTS19 in our store to get up to 25% off!
It is a very big deal and loads of fun! You will be hearing a LOT over the next few days. Excitement is building already.
TpT will GIVE your points to spend for every feedback you leave. Go to your 'My Purchases' tab and make sure you have given feedback for all your past purchases. When you go to checkout at the sale, be sure to use your points as well as the discount code BTS19.
Talk to your online friends about what they are purchasing. Take advantage of the very generous 'multiple licenses' that most sellers provide.
When you add an item to your cart, you can also buy an additional license - so you can share one with a friend, and then split the cost. So if you buy something for $8 and pay a $4 license to share it with one of your teaching colleagues, you can both arrange with one another to pay $6 each!
We going to give away some $10 TpT gift vouchers over on our Instagram over the next few days - keep a look out!
I like to have a plan for these sale days, because I get all jittery on sale day and flit from one page to another, in a nervous bundle of energy. I ALWAYS forget half the things I want to buy for my classroom.
Here are some of the things I do to get prepared , so I get the MOST out of the sale! They may help you too:
Here are some of the things I do to get prepared , so I get the MOST out of the sale! They may help you too:
1. Load-up your wishlist
You have some time to get your wishlist stocked up.
What is a wishlist you say? Well, hello fun!
As you scroll through the resources listed on TpT, you will see a clickable option called Add to Wishlist. These items will be added to a virtual list in your account, from which you can easily take items quickly through to the checkout.
You are not committed to buy them, but they are ready for when you can. I like to think of mine as virtual sticky-note because I can never re-find something that has caught my eye once I've moved on. Load that baby up with anything that takes your fancy. Trust me, it is F-U-N!
When browsing my favorite stores during wishlist-loading time, I use the TpT 'sort' tools to find the 'most recent' releases. I also use their store categories to find their bundles and higher priced items. There is no better time in the year to make these larger purchases.
Bundles are usually deeply discounted to begin with, but with the sale discount added, the value is amazing!

4. Look out for the FUN!
Keep a look out on social media. A ton of wonderful sellers will be offering you chances to win TpT gift vouchers, or score bonus 'buy one get one free' style deals. Enter as many as you can, and you could WIN vouchers to spend over the sale! Woohoo!!
