A Little Sunshine from My Desk ✨

Hello from my desk 🌿

Just popping in with a few little updates, and to send a bit of sunshine your way. I hope your week is treating you gently so far!

My April doodle challenge is still going strong — it’s day 22! Today’s prompts were many, pile, and leaf, so my page is now filled with leaves, curved lines and hearts. I was inspired by my morning smoothie (spinach + mint + some very wobbly spider-shaped banana slices 🕷️🍌), which somehow turned into a bit of a theme for the day!

A tiny office glow-up has been happening over here. I added some new decorative flowers (artificial, but still so pretty). The leaves have this delicate, almost spiderweb-like look… and between that and today’s drawing prompts, I found myself sketching quite a few spiders!

I shared a new screen wallpaper in the newsletter — did you catch it? It’s made of little hearts connected by a dashed, loopy line. It came from my “repeat pattern” idea on day 18 and felt like a sweet little way to send something lovely your way.

You can find more wallpapers here.

A little update to my Hop, 1-2-3 to Start Drawing pack — I’ve added three new drawings, bringing it up to 72 projects! The new ones include a spider, a sunrise, and a hopping bunny, all built from simple, foundational handwriting movements.

Also new in the store: a letter T is for tree drawing! it’s a lovely fit for earth day and pairs beautifully with letter-focused handwriting practice.

Today we colored a mermaid from the pond coloring club — sharing a little inspiration here in case you feel like picking up your colors too
