Hello from my desk — complete with my sketchbook, a cup of something warm, and (of course) cake on my new plate for one. It’s been a week of cozy creativity: sketching bats, doodling pumpkins, and dreaming up new autumn projects in between bites of frosting. Sometimes the quiet, snack-filled moments are the most productive ones!
The Silly Pumpkin Craft got a full glow-up! There are now three print options (quick, one-page, and standard) and two pumpkin shapes to choose from. I had twelve silly pumpkins keeping me company in my home office today — it felt like a mini pumpkin party in here. Maybe a little spooky, but they made excellent company while I worked! 👻🎨
Pumpkin Seed Play Mats
Next up in the math corner — my Pumpkin Seed Place Value Mats are ready and they’re such a cheerful little addition to any fall setup! They’ve been so much fun for building number sense in a hands-on, seasonal way. Just print, prep, and play — easy peasy pumpkin math.Silly Pumpkin Craft Update

Math Trolley Clean-Up
I also gave my math trolley a good tidy. Nothing fancy — just a bit of sorting, sharpening, and putting things where they belong. It’s amazing how much calmer I feel when the trays are neat and the manipulatives are back in their spots. Small organization wins really do make the week smoother.
Butterflies by the Ocean Coloring Page
There’s a new addition to the Pond Coloring Club — Butterflies by the Ocean! It’s a calm, beachy page with fluttering wings and pretty rainbows. Perfect for a mindful coloring moment or a creative classroom break. I loved drawing this one — it feels like a breath of sea air mixed with a bit of daydreaming.3-Number Math Warm-Up
Here’s a quick math warm-up: use the new 3-Number Cards and a whiteboard. Have your learners write the numbers in order from smallest to largest. It’s super simple, but packed with number sense value. A lovely, low-prep activity for busy mornings or transitions.Join the Pond!
