What do you ask fast-finishers to do? Do they love it? We've shared with you a few times over the years, our idea for a 'Bee Busy' area. in a nutshell, a place where students can busy themselves with worthwhile review and practice quickly and eagerly.
We've shared the details on how to set up a Bee Busy drawer system and most recently an idea for a Bee Busy pocket chart. Today, I want to share with you a Bee Busy Shelf.
The shelf predominately features write-n-wipe cards and introducing students to set routines and procedures for completing these activity cards is a great way to ensure the success of a Bee Busy area.
On the shelf you can also place commercially produced puzzles and card games for variety and engagement.
Here is a quick run down on what is on our Bee Busy shelf currently, we will mix it up every couple of weeks with new activities. Our shelf is from Modern Teaching Aids (not sponsored).
