Early Number Fun

Making math fun with engaging games that you are proud to give your students to play and they are excited to get their hands on, were two of the main reasons we started From the Pond

Here are a few of our current golden oldie favorites! And when we say 'golden oldie' lets not forget that we are constantly updating our resources so you always get fresh fabulous pages to print!

Your little ones will have fun subitizing with these Tricky Ten Frame activity cards. Easy to prep, highly engaging and skills focussed, you can play loads of games with these cards.

We have included instructions to play 3 different 'partner' games, but clever teachers could adapt them for many other learning opportunities..

The games can be adjusted easily to play with a small group or the whole class.

27 ten frames are provided, that show numbers 1-9 in non-standard arrangements.

Students will get practice in learning to recognise numbers on the ten frame instantly.

Do you have cute little plastic teddy bear counters in your math equipment collection? Use them or other counting manipulatives for fun practice on the big red bus!

Number Bus makes a fun, engaging and easy-to-prep activity for beginning addition and counting.
Children will delight in moving  bears up and down on the double-decker bus to work out simple addition and subtraction problems.

Perfect for students who understand that addition means combining two groups, but require more practice with hand-on materials

The hungry bunnies will help your little learners learn to count, recognize numbers and counting - with fun math center activity games.

This pack includes 4 game variations to learn and practice counting and numbers 1-10.

Help the bunnies find enough carrots - they are very hungry! Perfect for Easter and spring programs coming up soon.

Speaking of carrots - this free addition game will team up perfectly with the hungry bunnies.
