From My Sketchbook: Striped Snails
Today, a little inspiration crawled across my desk—literally! A dragon lizard came to visit us in the spring sunshine, and from that spark, a whole page of stripey snails was born in my sketchbook. 🐌✨
They are so quick and easy to doodle: just a spiral, a loop, a few stripes, and a bumpy edge around the shell. Before I knew it, I had sideways snails all over my notes, pencils, and mugs on my desk. Sometimes the best creative sparks come from the simplest shapes!

It’s amazing how a few simple lines can bring a snail to life, and once you’ve drawn one, you’ll want to cover your page with them too!

Encourage them to doodle even more fun details around the snail—tiny hearts, swirling lines, extra little snail friends. It’s a relaxing way to bring creativity into the classroom (or your own quiet time).
Behind the Scenes
I love sharing a peek into how my ideas come to life. Most of the time, it starts right here—in my sketchbook.
