Hello from My Desk: July Updates, Creative Moments & New Printables for You

Hi friends!

I wanted to pop in and say a big hello from my desk – cup of tea in hand, pencils scattered, and a heart full of gratitude for this creative community. Whether you're soaking up the slower pace of mid-year or deep in planning mode, I hope you're finding a little time for yourself, a little inspiration, and maybe even a little sunshine.

Here’s a peek at what I’ve been up to lately, and some new goodies you might enjoy…

Love of Pencils Coloring Page – Bold & Fun to Fill In

Fresh Pages in the Coloring Club

This week, I added some new designs to the Coloring Club! One of my favorites is the Love of Pencils page – perfect bold lines for easy coloring and creativity. And keep an eye out for Sunrise Dance, coming later this week, inspired by a magical moment I had watching a wagtail dance by the ocean.

If you love little nature moments like that, come say hi on Threads – I love sharing those quiet inspirations with you there.

Hop into Math Fun – Backward Counting with Tree Frogs

New in the Math Kit Bundle 2: meet the Tree Frog! These play mats help students count back by 1s or 2s as the frog hops down the tree. It's a super visual and interactive way to explore number sequences and subtraction.

Perfect for hands-on math centers or early numeracy practice.

July 9 is Sugar Cookie Day! Let’s Celebrate with a Craft

Who doesn’t love a sugar cookie? They’re round, sweet, and perfect for a shape-themed craft! I’ve added a simple activity that helps students trace simple shapes and lines and practice cutting skills. Talk about shapes, colors, and even do some dough-pressing with playdough or real dough – fantastic for fine motor development and counting fun too.
