I thought I’d pop in with a cozy little update from my desk this week. It’s been one of those creative, slightly messy but satisfying weeks — the kind where the desk is covered in paper scraps, snap lock bags, and coffee cups… and the ideas keep rolling in.
Here’s what I’ve been up to:
New in the Pond Coloring Club
A fresh set of fish-themed coloring pages just landed! These little swimmers are full of character — ready to swirl, swoop, and swim across the page. There’s space for learners to trace spirals and patterns too, making it a sweet mix of art and early fine motor practice.Craft Picture Cards – Work in Progress
I’m currently working on some updated picture cards for craft time. They’ll include extra ideas and a wider range of activities to help guide young learners (and busy educators!). I shared a sneak peek over on Instagram — still a bit to go, but I’m hoping to have them finished and ready soon. There’s also a new rainy-day coloring page featuring some sweet little wagtail birds — with patterns inspired by twigs, buttonholes, and cake sprinkles. It’s a soft, calm one — more to come in this series!
Math Kit Update – New Additions!
Some exciting updates have landed in the Math Kit Bundle 2 this week! A new math rhyme for Stair Bear has been added — perfect for adding a playful storytelling rhythm to early number sense activities. You can take a peek at it here:

Make Equal Rows With a Shining Star
These Number Star Cards are another fun way to support early counting and grouping skills. They help learners practice making equal rows — and the shining stars add that little spark of magic to the task. You can find them here:👉 Counting to Five – Number Star Cards

Storage Tip from My Desk
I’ve also been loving these sturdy snap lock bags for organizing my math cards and warm-up mats. They sit perfectly sideways in a container, making it easy to flick through and grab what I need. One of those small tweaks that saves a surprising amount of time!Quick Warm-Up Idea
One more little tip from the week: fill a small box (an old Mother’s Day gift box works beautifully) with small items. Let students take a look — no counting! — and make an estimate. It’s a lovely way to build number sense, and later, the box can double as a language or memory activity. So much talk and wonder from a handful of mini toys and math tools.
That’s all from me for now!
How’s your week going? If you’ve got a cozy corner of your own, I’d love to hear about it.
Wishing you a gentle, creative rest of the week 🌿
